The little sleepy fisherman’s nook set ideally between the backwaters of Allepey and the historic Cochin made a quick way to international tourist itinerary with its calm waters and pristine beach which is still largely a virgin one. The village life of the fishermen can be watched or experienced at close quarters in here. The place has few good resorts too. The calm waters here are ideal for soft swim and snorkelling and on lucky days with good tides surfing is also optional.
